SchoolDays Features

SchoolDays is a web-based calendar program that allows you to easily publish calendars online. You can even add your own custom logo to your SchoolDays calendars!

SchoolDays understands that your calendars needs are unique. Because of this we offer more control over your calendar than ever. Many of the features and behaviors in the system can be enabled/disabled from the Configuration Manager.

Calendars don't need complex interfaces that distract you from what matters most, your information. SchoolDays uses a clean and proven interface that our customers love.

Browse your calendars by day, week, month, year or list view. The Summary page is also available to help walk you through your day.

Staff access rights can be controlled by using the three access levels available. In addition, individual staff users can be given access to only specified calendars.

Calendars may be left "public" to allow access by anyone or "private" to limit access to yourself. Public calendars may be available to registered or unregistered users, but access to your private calendar always requires your username and password.

There's no limit to the number of public visitors that can access your calendars.

Adding and working with events in your calendars is easy! When working with events you are able to:

• Enter in the basics (event title, description, date, start/end time, location, etc.)
• Set an Event Alert
• Link to map and driving directions with one click
• Attach one or more files
• Invite participants
• Checkout Resources (room, projector, etc.)
• Set event recurrence (day, week, month, or year)

Don't worry about keeping your website updated, let SchoolDays do the work for you. SchoolDays offers an easy system for setting up event integration with any website. You have the option of either an events list that displays upcoming events or a mini calendar that will highlight the current day and days that have events. Best of all, you have full control over how the information will look on your website.

Your time matters. Save common events as templates to automatically fill in the information any time you need it.

Enhance communication and collaboration. Attach files to an event for easy document sharing.

SchoolDays supports both calendar and user specific time zones for anywhere in the world.

Share your public calendars with others using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) or Apple iCal. RSS is a format for syndicating news and other content to desktop and website feed readers. Current users of the Apple iCal program have the ability to continuously sync their SchoolDays calendars to iCal.

With RSS and Apple iCal support, you receive the latest calendar updates straight to your desktop or website.

Import calendar data to/from your SchoolDays calendars with Microsoft Outlook, Palm Desktop, Apple iCal, and more.

If you have another calendar published online, you can easily include it in your SchoolDays account. Simply provide the URL and how often to update and SchoolDays will automatically include the calendar and keep it up-to-date.

Search a single calendar or all calendars for the event you're trying to find. Using the advanced search, you can also search by date ranges and recently modified events.
